SECOND HAND SMOKE
In 2010, 47.0% of middle school and 54.0% of high school students were exposed to second-hand smoke (SHS) in a room or car in the past week. Although this has decreased by 24.2% among middle school students and by 25.5% among high school students since 1998, we still have work to do. In order to change social norms, we need to make tobacco use less acceptable, especially in places where youth spend much of their time. Use the information, action and ammunition resources to support tobacco free environments in your community.
